Skittles Taking an Interesting Approach to SB Ad

It's no surprise that buying ad time during the Super Bowl is some of the most expensive airtime a company can buy. The cost of 1 30-second ad will run a business $5 million during the upcoming game between Philly and New England. (That's $166,666 per second!)

That's a ton of money to put out there... for any company.

Skittles has decided that, this year, they will make a Super Bowl ad... BUT... they aren't showing it during the game.

Well... that's not entirely true. They are making an ad, and only showing it to one lucky person in Los Angeles.

You read that right. Only one person will ever see it. On the other hand, you'll get to watch that lucky guy watch the ad and react to it in real time on Skittles Facebook page.

Think this all sounds insane? You're not the only one.

Just to prove how serious they are about this, they created another commercial telling everyone what they are doing for the new commercial.

Don't believe me? Watch below!
