They think Australians are actors or computer generated
It’s hard to believe that in 2018 people still think the Earth is flat, but they do. The Flat Earth Society has been peddling the notion since 2006 and got a big boost last month. It happened because Facebook user Shelley Floryd wrote Australia does not exist. All things you call 'proof' are actually well fabricated lies and documents made by the leading governments of the world. Your Australian friends? They're all actors and computer generated personas, part of the plot to trick the world."
The crazy thing is Shelley was kidding. The post gained traction with flat earthers and they reminded everyone of a similar post from the Flat Earth Society in 2006. It even has people looking through archives to find proof of the lie.
Some 50-thousand people have now jumped on the bandwagon believing the earth is not round. Floryd has since deleted her post. Too late…damage done!
