The General John O’ Neill Wreath Laying Ceremony

Come pay respects to General John O’ Neill, a prominent member of the local Irish community who loved Nebraska until his dying day. The AOH hosts a wreath-laying event at his grave at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery each year, complete with an Irish choir performance, a memorial and the singing of the Irish National Anthem.
St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon at the Lauritzen Gardens

What better place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than the greenest place in Omaha? Come join the Lauritzen Gardens for a traditional Irish lunch, including corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, and Irish soda bread. St. Patrick’s Day at O’Connor’s Irish Pub

Where better to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than at our area’s favorite Irish bar? O’Connor’s Pub will be joining in the festivities during the parade on March 10, but make sure to come back on the day itself. The bar will be opening early for a grand celebration!
The St. Patty’s Day Celebration at Maloney’s Irish Pub

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Maloney’s Irish Pub! The bar will open at 6 am, and green pancakes will be served at 7 am. Beef and cabbage will also be available starting at 11 am, and live entertainment starts at noon! Dance along to the music from Stephen Monroe, Omaha Pipes and Drums and Connor Dowling.
St. Patty’s Day at the Dubliner Pub

If you can’t get to Dublin to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, this little Old Market pub is the second best thing. The underground space feels just like Ireland, and features nearly 100 different beers from all over the world. On St. Patty’s Day, the bar will open at 6 am, and features live music (including Connor Dowling and Dicey Riley) throughout the day.

Bar 415 is already one of our favorite destinations for a fun night out in Omaha, but on St. Patrick’s Day, the bar will light up with live music from String Theory!
