This one hit close to home for me because my dad as faced with the same choice almost 30 years ago. My mom was in labor for about a day and I had to be taken emergency c-section. Thankfully, everything turned out OK, but this happens more than you'd think.
Frederick from Colorado had been faced with the same choice when his wife was suffering complications during her labor.
