6 years old, John is all too familiar with the inside of a hospital. Far more than he should be at his age.
The reason... he was diagnosed with Leukemia almost 3 years earlier.
With Chemo finally behind him, Jo (as he's known to his classmates) was ready to get back to school. He sat and wondered if there would be an announcement at school that he was finally done, or if any celebration would be had.
His classmates has something a big bigger planned for him. A heroes welcome back to school, with all of his classmates lining the halls to clap and welcome him back.
