Chipotle's 'Boorito' Promotion Will Be Held Digitally This Year

Chipotle is gearing up for its annual Boorito promotion as Halloween creeps closer. Like so many things this year, though, Chipotle is taking the Boorito deal digital as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

For the past twenty years, customers who showed up at Chipotle locations dressed in a costume on Halloween received discounted entrees. In an effort to curb crowd levels to allow for social distancing measures, Chipotle will make the Boorito event digital. Here's how it will all go down.

Customers will be able to receive buy-one-get-one-free entrées on Halloween. From October 29-31, Chipotle will share a total of 500,000 BOGO promotions on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram. In order to claim the BOGO deals, customers will have to text the valid keyword to 888-222. This deal will also only be redeemable digitally via the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com on Halloween.

Chipotle shared the information for the promotion on Instagram, advising its followers to "turn on your notifications bc we're passing out 500K BOGOs for Boorito on Insta, Twitter and TikTok Oct 29-31. Use online or in the app any time on Halloween." Sadly, no costumes will be necessary this year.

This promotion will only be valid while codes last. Customers must purchase their entrées on 10/31/20 to redeem for free or for equal/lesser value than regular prices. The codes are limited to one per person, as well. Customers must be 13+ to participate.
