Blake Lively's Super Bowl attendance was a momentous occasion for more reasons than we previously knew. Not only was she there to cheer on her friend Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce, but the actress recently revealed it also marked the first time she went somewhere without her children.

"Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes. I took pictures upside down and had no clue," Lively wrote on Instagram this week, following the Kansas City Chief's Super Bowl win on February 11th. "I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07. I borrowed more jewelry than the skelton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing. Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like."

Lively and her husband actor Ryan Reynolds share four kids: James (8), Inez (6), Betty (3), and they welcomed their fourth child in February 2023. Blake broke the news of her pregnancy in September 2022 when she surprised attendees at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women's Summit in New York with a baby bump.

Reynolds took to his own Instagram account to poke some fun at his wife for traveling to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. The actor shared a photo of himself standing next to a television screen playing the trailer for the forthcoming installment of the Deadpool franchise called Deadpool & Wolverine and pretended like he had no idea where Lively had gone.

"Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?" he wrote in the caption. Fans were quick to play along with the joke commenting, "hey Ryan, looks like she’s having a girls night out, hope this helps 🫶."
