Liam Payne's first posthumous song, "Do No Wrong" was supposed to have its release on November 1st, as announced by Payne's collaborator, Sam Pounds, but for now, fans will have to wait as the song drop is being put on hold.

Pounds shared on his X account that he is holding the track out of consideration to Liam's family members, noting "it's not time yet" as everyone is still mourning the late pop star. He wrote, "I'm deciding to hold “ Do No Wrong” and leave those liberties up to all family members. I want all proceeds go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire). Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to morn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait."

In a now-deleted post, Pounds shared of his collaboration with Liam, "I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear, and the entire family. I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you." He added, "With love let's all BE the blessing."

Payne was found dead several weeks ago at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina after falling from the balcony of his third floor room into the courtyard. According to CNN, a preliminary autopsy report shows that the former One Direction singer died from multiple injuries causing "internal and external hemorrhage."

Payne was just 31 years old, and leaves behind his seven-year-old son Bear, who he shares with ex Cheryl Cole.
