Benson Boone's 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Nails Tricky Ex Run-In

Benson Boone is back with some more "Beautiful Things" — a brand new song called "Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else."

In "Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else," Boone talks about running into an ex, singing, "I'm sorry I'm here for someone else/ It's good to see your face/ And I really hope you're doing well/ I hope you're doing well/ I'm sorry I'm here for someone else/ I wish that I could stay/ And talk at the bar all by ourselves/ But I'm here for someone else."

Boone's new song is just a preview of what's to come from the singer as he enters into a new era.

Benson is coming off of a whirlwind year as his hit single "Beautiful Things" went 5x Platinum and garnered nearly 3.5 billion streams since its release. The song was featured on his debut album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, and hit No. 1 at Top 40 and Hot AC radio, and helped earn him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Boone is nominated for six iHeartRadio Music Awards this year for Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Best Lyrics, and Best Music Video for "Beautiful Things," as well as Best New Pop Artist and Favorite Tour Tradition (for his impressive signature backflips). Fans can vote for Benson in the Best Lyrics, Best Music Video and Favorite Tour Tradition categories as voting will close on March 10th at 11:59pm PT for all categories.
