Kim Kardashian and her eldest daughter North West are closer now than ever.

The SKIMS founder opened up about her bond with North during the latest episode of The Kardashians on Thursday (February 27), zooming in on how their connection has changed over the last year, per People. Speaking to her sister Kourtney Kardashian, Kim remarked:

"The craziest thing happened. Tell me if this happened with Mason. North is like obsessed with me now and calls me with her friends like, ‘Mom I love you, you’re the best mom. I love you so much.'"

Kourtney revealed that her niece has always communicated kindly with her, inquiring if it was Kim who changed this year, to which the star replied:

"I mean possibly. It was a year of like mad at me." The Lemme mogul told her sister that the big turnaround in their relationship might have had something to do with her divorce from ex-husband Kanye West, with whom she shares children North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.

"I think it was all the divorce. It’s insane the turnaround," Kim concluded, reflecting on her mother-daughter relationship with North.

Last fall, Kim interviewed her daughter for Interview Magazine, and the 11-year-old cited her dad as one of her major fashion influences but left her mom off the list despite her iconic fashion status.
