"This badlands park is as oddly fascinating as its name suggests. The landscape of rock formations, from hoodoos to the eponymous ‘toadstools,’ is often described as moon-like – and it also looks as if a few spaceships have landed on these plains. There’s a campground area with restrooms and day-use picnic tables. Hiking trails lead out from here, and you can picnic en route, right among the rocks."
